To supply a range of GSE, including winter seasonal assets (de-icers), to assist a groundhandling client with the current expansion of their operations.

Scope of Client’s Request
The multifaceted request includes the provision of Adapt GSE refurbished assets, as well as Adapt GSE co-ordinating the purchase of the remaining appropriate assets in the European marketplace. The request further includes the logistics of delivery to the location, and the commissioning, handover, and subsequent training across all of the units in two different airport locations in the same country.

Phase One
- Three Trepel TAE 20 electrical baggage tractors.
- Two Schopf Rofan diesel baggage tractors.
- Five TLD TMX-20 diesel baggage tractors.
- One Vestergaard Elephant MY de-icer.
Phase Two
- Three Vestergaard Elephant BETA de-icers.
Phase Three
- One TLD TXL-838 7 tonnes diesel low-deck loader.
- Two Mulag Orbiter 7.5 metre diesel belt conveyors.
- One Mallaghan HR wide-body stair, including overhead weatherproof canopy and bellows.
Initial Challenges
To execute and deliver the supply of 18 units of GSE within a specified time period of three months. This included all units being refurbished where required, all parts being replaced where necessary, and full services and all independent test certificates, such as LOLER certificates, being completed and filed.
Duration of Process
Three months (ongoing).
Scope of Retrofitment Activities
- To refurbish Schopf and TLD baggage tractors.
- To source brand new Midac batteries to install to three Trepel TAE 20 electric baggage tractors.
- To source four Vestergaard de-icers and to fully service the same units (including full engine chassis), as well as perform full winter-readiness services for these de-icers and attain a full official independent LOLER test certificate for the units.
- To extensively refurbish the Mallaghan HR wide-body stair, as well as manufacture a new weatherproof canopy for the unit.
- To service and test the TLD TXL838 seven tonnes loader.
- To service and test the Mulag Belt Orbiters x two.
